Accessibility Information | Graduation 2026:
If you or your guests have specific accessibility needs outside of the accommodations below, please contact Student Disability Services at 864.592.4818 or disabilityservices@sccsc.edu as soon as possible so arrangements can be made. Fifth Third Park 300 W. Henry St Spartanburg, SC 29306 6:00 PM (Stadium entry available at 4:00 pm)
Ballpark Garage
Ballpark Garage
158 Pollard Street
Spartanburg, SC 29306Parking in the stadium garage is limited, so guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow ample time to walk from nearby downtown parking areas and garages.
Please avoid parking on the West Henry side, as access is significantly impacted due to the closure of Batter’s Alley, resulting in a longer walking route.
We recommend reviewing the provided parking map for guidance, especially considering ongoing construction around the stadium.
Accessible parking will be available in the ballpark garage on the first three levels, located directly beside the elevator. Levels 4–6 also have parking spaces near the elevator; however, these are not designated ADA spaces and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
From the garage, guests should proceed to the Left Field Gate. The path to stadium seating is on a single-level surface, with seating available along the way for those who may need to rest.
A wheelchair will be available at the Left Field Gate and can be requested from a graduation volunteer to assist with transporting guests from the garage to their seating area if needed. Additional information regarding accessible seating for graduates and attendees is provided below.
Bag sizes must be limited to 16 x 16 x 8 and MUST be soft-sided. No exceptions will be allowed for oversized bags: diaper bags (with a young child present) and medical bags. These bags are also subject to visual inspection and search.
Accessible Seating:
Guests who are unable to use stairs to access the seating bowl will have designated seating available at the top of the outfield sections. Please look for Fifth Third Park staff members (wearing black polos) for assistance in locating these areas.
In addition, six ADA-accessible platforms are reserved for guests using wheelchairs. Each platform accommodates one companion. Companion seating is provided via a folding chair with a weight capacity of 450 lbs. Guests who require additional seating accommodations are welcome to bring their own chair.
As this is an outdoor graduation ceremony, guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for warm weather conditions.
Concessions will be open for those who would like to purchase cold beverages. Cups will be available at refill stations throughout the stadium.
Guests may bring empty, soft (silicone or squeezable) water bottles into the stadium for use at refill stations.
When it is time for graduates to walk the stage, they will line up and navigate from their seat on the field to the stage. The path from Batters Alley to graduate seating on the field is accessible, and accommodations are available to students at Batters Alley if needed. If any graduates are unable to navigate this path, please notify Student Disability Services. Graduates will walk the stage via ramp and then return to their seat.
At the conclusion of the graduation ceremony, guests are invited to remain in the stadium for a celebratory fireworks show.
Guests who prefer to avoid loud sounds or flashing lights are welcome to exit the stadium at any time.
In the event of inclement weather, the alternative date for the graduation ceremony will be Thursday, May 14.
Should weather conditions require a change from the originally scheduled date, an official announcement will be made as soon as possible through our standard communication channels. We encourage graduates and guests to monitor email and the college website for updates.
