Workforce Health Information Sessions

Prospective students are welcome to bring a parent, spouse, friend, or anyone interested in learning about our Allied Health – Workforce Health programs.

Workforce Health Information Sessions will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the dates provided.

All sessions will be held at the Evans Campus located at 220 E. Kennedy St, Spartanburg, SC.

Course Overview

Students will learn to follow universal precautions, tie tourniquets, identify veins, and demonstrate knowledge and use of equipment necessary for drawing blood. Students will be able to identify appropriate tubes and labels for tests, prep the site, and perform venipunctures and finger sticks. Books are included and will be available in class.
