School of Allied Health Information Sessions

(Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Expanded Duty Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Medical Laboratory Technology, Paramedic, Pharmacy Technician, Respiratory Care Technician, Radiologic Technology, and Surgical Technology)

Attendance at one Allied Health Information Session is required prior to applying to any of the programs listed above. Prospective students are welcome to bring a parent, spouse, friend, or anyone interested in learning more about our Allied Health programs.

Beginning July 17, 2026, through December 4, 2026, joint Allied Health Information Sessions will be held every other Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

All sessions will be held in Room 102 of the Health Sciences Building, located at 850 Brisack Road, Spartanburg, SC, on Spartanburg Community College's Giles Campus.

Program Overview

Students in the Paramedic Certificate program will receive training in advanced pre-hospital medical skills through extensive didactic coursework, psychomotor skills labs, clinical rotations, field experience and internship.
