Student life thrives at SCC! Visit the Student Hub in the Powers Building (C-wing) or enjoy the outdoors on the SCC Campus Green. The office of Student Life manages campus activities outside of the classroom, promotes community service opportunities and serves as a liaison between SCC administration and student organizations.
See the friendly faces of SCC Student Life and more in your MySCC Portal account, Student Life page.

What is Student Life?
Why join a student club or organization? Because you learn just as much from experiences outside of a classroom as you do in one. Not only will your resume reflect your sense of commitment and involvement, you'll also make a difference in the lives of others in your community. Learn more about clubs and organizations at SCC in your Student Planner & Handbook (download or view online) or email studentlife@sccsc.edu.
Organizations include: American Sign Language Club, Baptist Collegiate Ministry, Business Alliance Club, National Technical Honors Society, Phi Theta Kappa, SEA Board Student Veterans Association, Surgical Technology Club, Teacher Education Club, Call Me MiSTER Program
SCC's Student Life office promotes and encourages student involvement in community services. Walk with us in the March of Dimes March for Babies Walk, pack Bags of Love for children in need, collect toiletry items for local family shelters, and more.
Learn more about specific volunteerism opportunities by emailing studentlife@sccsc.edu.
There's always something going on in the vibrant Upstate, and SCC works to connect students with events and activities in our community. Outdoor activities through the Spartanburg Parks Department, Black History Month events, plays, concerts, and more are encouraged for student involvement.
Be sure to check your MySCC Portal and the SCC website home page for events listings involving SCC and partners.
Student Ambassadors are currently enrolled students who represent SCC to prospective students and the community throughout the academic year. Ambassadors assist the Recruiting Office with recruitments efforts such as campus tours and community events.
