Beginning Fall 2024, we have simplified the prerequisites for our Practical Nursing program to just four courses, referred to as "Semester 1":

  • ENG 165
  • MAT 155
  • COL 101
  • BIO 112

Additional Requirements:

  • TEAS Test: Students must take the TEAS test before applying. While there is no minimum score required, performing well on the test is advantageous. In the event of a tie for the last available slot, the student with the higher TEAS score will be given priority.
  • Background Check: A clean background check is mandatory. However, this only needs to be completed once a student has been formally accepted into the nursing program.

Program Structure:

We offer a compressed semester format for the Practical Nursing program, accepting students in both the Fall and Spring semesters. Our program lineup is designed to efficiently prepare students for their nursing careers.
