Also, I enjoy mentoring young professionals and helping them navigate career choices. Ultimately, I came to SCC to give back to my community and the school that helped me to where I am today."

Why SCC? "I grew up in the community college system. My father was a high school principal who taught night classes at our local community college. I love everything about the community college life- it fits everyone. I always precepted new nurses and new employees in my years of practice as a nurse, so the transition teaching was an easy one to make."
